  Many of us Aware and seen how a caterpillar goes from a tough journey of his life. Caterpillar creates a cocoon around self and remains there. After 1-2 weeks it transform into a beautiful butterfly which everyone admires. Does the cocoon a resting place for caterpillar ? Obviously not... inside cocoon its body breaks by its own digestive juices and new body and wings formed. Its painful but worth 2 weeks inside cocoon. Business Intelligence or BI is much talked term. What do you mean by visualization in BI? is it looking the fancy graphs in some explorer after putting good amount of efforts and money in technology. Is it extracting the data from various system and putting in one platform and then doing the postmortem there? If this is the thought before starting the BI journey, then better to have excel with power pivot which is very powerful to server this purpose.
