Digital Transformation

Many of us Aware and seen how a caterpillar goes from a tough journey of his life. Caterpillar creates a cocoon around self and remains there. After 1-2 weeks it transform into a beautiful butterfly which everyone admires.

Does the cocoon a resting place for caterpillar ? Obviously not... inside cocoon its body breaks by its own digestive juices and new body and wings formed. Its painful but worth 2 weeks inside cocoon.

Similar is the Digitization Journey, it is not simple and straight most of the time organization think it is.

In Order to Digitization, Business Process must go in to cocoon like a caterpillar does. New revamped and robust business process to be evolved first in the cocoon , so Digital process comes out with shiny and strong wings to take a leap further.

It is not possible without undergoing these changes any Process can be transformed. Most of the cases simply mapping of existing process to digital process leads to failure of Digitization.
